Sam Ready

Since joining in January 2023, he has enhanced the company's financial planning processes and developed performance reporting that delivers critical insights into show costs, labour, rendering, and operational overheads.

With over a decade of finance experience, Sam previously held roles at Xero on the FP&A team, focusing on continuous improvement and capital allocation decisions, and worked in corporate finance at Deloitte, specialising in financial due diligence, valuations, and corporate advisory services. He brings expertise in financial modelling, M&A analysis, forecasting, and business transformation to support Wētā FX's growth in the global visual effects industry.

Sam is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration and has served in governance roles, including Board Member and Chair of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee at Hospice New Zealand.

Known for his strategic focus and stakeholder management skills, Sam combines technical financial expertise with creative problem-solving abilities.
