Nicky Muir
Visual Effects Producer
Nicky joined Wētā FX in 2004 as a Production Assistant on Peter Jackson’s King Kong.
She went on to become Animation Production Manager and then Senior Production Manager of the Motion Group overseeing six different departments alongside Senior Head of Department, Richard Frances-Moore. She is currently the Visual Effects Producer on an unannounced show.
Since joining Wētā, Nicky has added over 15 film credits to her name including James Cameron’s Avatar, The Hobbit trilogy, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. She is currently producing on the upcoming Avatar sequels.
