These ranged from large scale environments, epic battles, dragons and destruction. Most, if not all, involved simulation. This ranged from Massive crowds to complex Dragon fire and water simulations. Weta has a team of experts who develop state-of-the-art simulations for visual effects such as water, fire, fluids, muscle, cloth, hair, and plants. On Game of Thrones, the Weta effects animation team used almost every tool they had.
